COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT The cure for Lymphoma Foundation is a nonprofit organization that Michael and his wife, Shannon, are actively involved in. Shannon was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Disease in February of 1999. Since then it has been Michael and Shannon's goal to work towards finding a cure and to raise awareness of this disease. In June of 2001, Michael & Shannon organized a fundraiser and raised $32,000. All proceeds went towards research and education. Shannon has been cancer free since September of 2000. Michael frequently attends Planning and City Council meetings, as to keep current with latest involvements in the growth of the community. Michael is also involved with fund raising for "My Father's House." This is the only homeless shelter in the East County area of Portland Oregon for Families trying to get back on their feet. Michael also enjoys playing in charity golf tournaments and actually happens to win some of them!
FAMILY LIFE Michael & Shannon have a wonderful 5 1/2 year old son named Jonah. Michael and Shannon have been married for 10 years and have lived in Gresham Oregon.
